My daughter was an inpatient here for several months and was well cared for. The staff were professional and courteous and helped her successfully discharge to another level of care at another facility. Her only complaint was the meal preparation not being up to her high culinary standards, but I take responsibility for that by sending her to cooking class LOL.

This place is so wonderful! They truly care about their patients! My father had a massive brain stroke and they helped my father walk and talk again! Their entire team is dedicated hardworking that care about my father gaining back his independence. They have monthly activities to keep my dad busy and they are nice and clean! The entire staff are just so amazing so grateful for John and Will supporting My father and our entire family through this journey! They are 10/5 rating! They go above and beyond for families!

I did describe my beautiful stay at the hill in Oakland. Positive and down to earth. Just wanted to mention that I recently met with the LVAD team atUCSM. 1100van ness San Francisco. They asked my opinion about my stay at the hill I couldn’t find enough words to express that deep appreciation of the place and the staff and policies. Just beautiful.

My experience was very good for awhile. I was being cared for by a wonderful CNA. Don’t want to reveal the name. But like I said everything was great, until they moved me to a three bed room. That was fine until I found out we’re sharing the bathroom with men. That’s why I was moved in the first place. Now doing it again. Just wrong. Then went to a doctors appointment, come back and to my surprise… now have a man in the room. Which is all the way wrong. No man is supposed to share a room with women. I don’t care how you slice it, it’s against all rules and law. Then they found out that I was not happy they decided to move me again. They knew damn well I wasn’t happy. I was angry and annoyed because that’s wrong. I’ve stayed in two different facilities like this. And never ever have a man shared bathroom or room with women. Men had their own rooms with men and bathrooms. Never ever has a woman shared a room with a man like I did in this place. And not only did it happened the first time, they moved another man into the other room I was in. And lied and said it was a woman. Even the staff was lying about it. I can tell the difference between a man and woman. All the science I learned in school showed me that I was right. But they kept the lie going on. And the food is not fit for human consumption. Gave me spoiled food. Food I’m not supposed to have because of health reasons and allergies. Still put it on my plate. Very bad cooks. My breakfast was good for awhile and then went downhill. Lunch was so so. I kept ordering salad, sandwiches. Dinner is what ever you want to call it. I ordered so much DoorDash to eat something that I could recognize. And taste and smell good. And if they didn’t have the vending machines for snacks, I didn’t know what I was going to do. Start buying my own food to keep in the freezer and fridge that I bought with my own money. So I can have whatever I want to eat. That’s called survival. They really don’t care about the people who are there the way they should be treated. It’s a shame! I have a lot more I can say about this place, but this is enough.

It’s really hard to get a hold of people there or to talk to your loved ones and if they need to get referred out to an assisted-living facility, double check the facilities and make sure they are actually licensed and not just bard and care I assumed that the places that they were referring me to were all licensed however, in the end we found out it was just board and care The facility where my grandfather went, kept saying he was too much and a handful which he is, but paying as much as we are paying it should not have been an issue. And then we were told that we would not be able to be prorated due to the facility having to pay medical Hill a fee for referring them, which was half of the payment we did. I genuinely do not think that Medical Hill has elders in their best interest Otherwise, they would give full detail details to the people that they are referring I had to explain things multiple times and they only gave me phone numbers to call to see if there was for my grandfather.

Great team work, always helpful by staff, nurses are great, nice environment. I would definitely recommend your loved ones can come here for therapy.

Amazing facility and great staff.

I was put here, and this place is a Zoo. Three people to a room that should have one, so one TV per three people. I am immune compromised, and they put me in a room with someone with c. diff. because I had diarrhea. They lied and said I had c diff so they could stick me with the infected (because they have way more patients than they can handle), whereas I was pointing to the lab results that clearly said I didn’t have it. They exposed an immunocompromised person to a pathogen that could potentially kill them. I ended up leaving, going to the ER and being readmitted to the hospital and detailed to them what goes down there. Avoid at all costs if you want you or your loved ones to survive.

I am an LVN student , and the workers , and everyone around is very helpful. The facility is very clean, and organized. I would recommend for your loves one to be here

Great building! Well organized and management, very clean, friendly staffs, a great place that you can trust to have your love one here for rehab!

As a student doing clinicals here, I appreciate this facility very much. The staff are friendly, and they give you many opportunities to learn! The facility is clean, and is an overall great place to not only learn from, but to also care for your loved ones.

This place is where you dont want your loved one at. I seen how they just drug you up so your like a zombie and cant talk. I complained about my brothers care there. No one cared to inform the doctor of the patients rights to a normal life under their care. My brother went into that care facility and they just medicated him so much that he was just like zombie – When he spoke – I could not understand him and it was really him screaming for help!! Pull your loved one out of this hell on earth!!! DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO MEDICAL HELL HEATHCARE!!

It was a beautiful experience for our family and friends whenever we visited our mom at Medical Hill Healthcare Center. The Doctor’s, Social Worker, Physical Therapist, Nutritionist, Activity Director, Laundry department, Custodians, Nurse’s RN’S, LVN’S and CNA’S All work in Harmony with the patient s and their specific needs. I recommend Medical HILL Healthcare Center because they really help patient’s to thrive!
